RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

This job description is inclusive but not limited to the following:

Reporting to the SVP, Supply Chain Manager is responsible for all Order Management, Supply/Demand forecasting, 3PL management – plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services – The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for ensuring processes are in place to drive forecast accuracy, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment and achievement of KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Demand & Supply Planning
    • Responsible for Demand, Supply Planning, all Inventory Control related activities Work and liaise with HQ SC Team for replenishment orders, shipment & US  3rd Party Warehouse & Transport Providers
    • Develop and maintain effective supply, distribution and inventory plans.
    • Maintain product inventory levels within agreed volume and quality targets.
    • Execute product allocation processes to effectively manage supply constraints;
    • Execute order fulfillment processes to ensure perfect customer order fulfillment;
    • Maintain highly effective communications with all key stakeholders
    • Forecasting – Work closely with Sales for monthly demand forecast, juggle current inventory needs, immediate customer demands, and probable future sales to maintain balance between fulfillment and replenishment needs, proactively communicate in advance of any potential shorts, delivery timing, product allocation, and other pertinent areas of fulfillment issues
    • Order Management – Continuously make sure to align Demand with Supply, visualize Demand Forecast and Supply Forecast
    • Ensure monthly replenishment plans and forecast submission to HQ Supply Chain, liaise with HQ SC on replenishment fulfillment, shipments to ensure supply
    • Global Product Rollout – make sure new products are launched in schedule Continually monitor product supply vs. customer sales, and perform supply and demand analysis to maximize sales
    • Maintain optimal channel inventory through the various stages of the product life cycle; act as the central point of contact for all supply chain matters for new product launches
    • Ensure optimal inventory and goods movement, integrity and accuracy of the stock management system, removal of obsolete materials from the warehouse to reduce storage costs from the business
  • Customer Service & Logistics
    • Management of all customer orders, process orders accurately from order receipt through to delivery with agreed timeline.
    • Interface with freight carrier and 3PL warehouses to coordinate all logistics to ensure on-time delivery and order fulfillment
    • Track all inbound to 3PL warehousing facilities and outbound shipments/  deliveries to customers
    • Ensure that export documentation is correct and complete to ensure that orders are delivered without customs delays.
    • Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency of delivery
    • Monitor product import processes to ensure that compliance with regulatory or legal requirements are met with domestic and foreign countries
    • Handle all incoming customer inquiries pertaining to product deliverables; communicate and manage accordingly working tandemly with Sales
    • Ensure that all customer documentation and records are always up to date and accurately maintained on all business system
    • Management of all 3PL warehousing activities – storage, inventory accuracy, batch control & product handling
    • Track, record, verify all inventory and logistics billing from 3PL
    • Effectively negotiate US transportation freight rates, carriers, and minimize warehouses/storages cost
    • Use personal judgment and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles in import/export activity and procedures.
    • Negotiate with suppliers or customers to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability
    • To log and investigate customer complaints in a timely manner with feedback to customers on the investigation and any corrective actions
  • Others
    • Work cross functionally with Commercial, Finance, HQ – Supply Chain & Finance
    • Develop processes to ensure that compliance with regulatory or legal requirements are met with domestic and foreign countries
    • Submission of Monthly KPI report & Stock Provision to HQ
    • Maintain accurate written procedure for all planning and inventory control processes
